In the early days of Bitcoin, when It was not yet proven to be a viable innovation, Bitcoin coders, miners, and activists discussed much of what many consider the major issues of our era in 2024. Whether Satoshi should decide on releases or broader governance should be used; Whether use by WikiLeaks should be encouraged or not; Whether building on top of Bitcoin was a good idea or not and whether or not it should be encouraged. All these issues, and many more, found their genesis at this time.
